PRIVACY POLICY AND GLBA PRIVACY NOTICE

Touchstone Closing & Escrow, LLC (“Touchstone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our customers and is committed to protecting the personal and financial information entrusted to us.
This Privacy Policy and GLBA Privacy Notice describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our real estate closing, settlement, title, escrow, and related services; our website; and our electronic communications, including SMS, MMS, and Rich Communication Services (“RCS”).
Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Privacy Notice
Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”) generally prohibits a financial institution, directly or through its affiliates, from sharing nonpublic personal information about a consumer with a nonaffiliated third party unless the institution provides the consumer with notice of its privacy policies and practices, including the types of information it collects and the categories of persons or entities to whom such information may be disclosed.
In compliance with the GLBA, Touchstone provides this Privacy Policy and GLBA Privacy Notice describing our privacy policies and practices.
Information We Collect

• Information you provide when communicating with us by telephone, email, SMS, MMS, RCS, secure portal, website, or other means.
We may also automatically collect limited technical information when you use our website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in an amended Privacy Policy or other applicable notice, we do not collect additional categories of nonpublic personal information except as reasonably necessary or permitted by law in connection with our services and operations.
How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to provide real estate closing, settlement, title, escrow, legal, and related services; process and coordinate transactions; communicate with transaction participants; schedule and confirm closing appointments; provide reminders and transaction updates; verify identities; prevent and detect fraud; maintain required records; respond to inquiries; operate and secure our systems and website; and comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, underwriting, and professional obligations.
Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information
We may disclose information that we collect about our customers and former customers to our affiliates or to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law and as reasonably necessary to provide our services.
Such parties may include lenders, title insurers and underwriters, attorneys, real estate professionals, financial institutions, governmental and recording authorities, identity-verification and fraud-prevention providers, technology and communications providers, and other parties involved in or necessary to a transaction.
WE DO NOT DISCLOSE NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO ANYONE FOR ANY PURPOSE THAT IS NOT SPECIFICALLY PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not sell nonpublic personal information.
SMS, MMS and RCS Communications
If you provide your mobile telephone number and consent to receive text messages from Touchstone, we may communicate with you through SMS, MMS, RCS, or similar messaging technologies.
These communications may include closing scheduling invitations, appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling changes, closing location information, transaction-related notifications, requests for information, and other communications related to services you have requested from Touchstone.
Message frequency varies depending upon your transaction and your interactions with Touchstone. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of messaging at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive SMS, MMS, or RCS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Mobile Information and Messaging Consent
Touchstone does not sell, rent, share, transfer, or disclose mobile telephone numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or SMS/RCS consent information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile telephone numbers and messaging consent information collected for SMS, MMS, or RCS communications will be used for Touchstone’s communications with you and for purposes necessary to provide and support those communications.
We may provide such information to vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely as necessary to deliver messaging, communications, technology, security, or related services. Those service providers are not authorized to use your mobile information or messaging consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
The foregoing provisions concerning mobile information and messaging consent apply notwithstanding any other provision of this Privacy Policy concerning the disclosure of information.
Information Security
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to authorized employees and service providers who need access to that information to provide products or services to you or perform legitimate business functions on our behalf.
We maintain physical, electronic, administrative, and procedural safeguards designed to comply with applicable federal and state requirements and to protect nonpublic personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
No electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Wire Fraud and Sensitive Financial Information
Real estate transactions are frequent targets of wire fraud, phishing, impersonation, business email compromise, and other cybercrime.
Do not send Social Security numbers, bank account information, passwords, wiring instructions, or other highly sensitive financial information through ordinary email, SMS, MMS, or RCS unless Touchstone specifically directs you to an approved secure method.
Touchstone will not rely solely upon an unsolicited email or text message to change wiring instructions.
Consumers should independently verify wiring instructions using established and trusted contact information before transmitting funds.
Website and Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the website, maintain security, understand website usage, and improve our services.
Your browser may provide options for limiting or disabling cookies. Disabling certain technologies may affect website functionality.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, administer transactions, maintain business and transaction records, satisfy legal, regulatory, underwriting, contractual, and professional obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect our legal rights.
